Any Poets Fancy Being Published?
I do! But how?
One of the aims of my anthology is to re-introduce poetry to the masses and I know there are loads of you poets out there who have different styles to me and there are a good number who are better than me as well. So, for that reason, I'm going to have a section in my anthology where any poets can put their best poem. You can only have one poem, it can be as long or short as you like.
Does it cost anything? Will I get royalties?
It won't cost anything, but you won't get royalties either - it'll basically be like free advertising, and if we sell, like, one hundred or 500 copies, I might give you points or something (exactly what I give you depends on my financial situation at the time).
What information do you need?
It will be published with your name and/or dA address, and any other info you'd like me to include.
I don't know which poem to send...
You don't need to send me a poem or anything yet - I'll ask for that when I've finished my bit, but I basically wanted to know if anyone's interested. Just comment on my page or send me a note if you'd like to have one of your poems in my anthology. This way it is the last thing to be finalised and you can make sure it's your best!
You can even use it as an opportunity to advertise your own anthology or ongoing project!
Just be aware that it might take a while for the publishing to go through or for the book to be bought, so projects which will be going on over long periods of time would be better.
The list so far:
My Progress
One star = 10 poems
You can also help to raise poetry's profile in society by watching PoetryToTheMasses and encouraging your friends to join, even if they claim to not be huge fans of poetry!

I'm sure I used to be better at journal titles
Maybe because back then I had stuff to say.
As you may have noticed, I'm being a lot more active lately. Although it is currently the holidays, so we'll have to see if I manage to keep it up after the weekend when term starts again. You've probably also noticed the last couple of poems I've submitted have been in French and Latin - I'm trying to get some practice using these other languages, but the majority of my work will probably still be English. Who knows, though - one day in the distant future I might actually be able to write a Latin poem in hexameter!
Also, commissions are open - they always are - there's a link to all my commission
Happy New Year
Hello all, I know, long time, no see.
One of my new year's resolutions is to write everyday, which, to be honest, I've broken once already XD Anyway, I'll be uploading them when I write them, numbered by day. They'll be in my Writing Exercises folder :)
So hopefully you'll be seeing a bit more of me now :)
Kiriban
Hi guys,
I'm nearing 15,000 pageviews, so I'm offering a prize to the first person who sends me a screenshot of it. They will get a literature commission - either up to 2,000 words of prose or up to 30 lines of free, rhyming verse.
Rules:
- You must send me a screenshot of my profile page, with the pageview counter showing 15,000
- The screenshot must not have been edited in anyway
- The screenshot must include the time (in other words make sure you don't have your browser on full screen)
- You must send me the screenshot via note. I do not mind how you upload it (dA, Sta.sh, Photobucket, Flickr, etc.)
Good luck!
